Hydresia™ ingredients can be used in a variety of product applications and bring superior aesthetic properties that are recognized by your consumers.   • Hydresia™ can be used in a range of applications where it imparts excellent aesthetic properties - Hydresia™ is extremely versatile and can be used with a very wide range of ingredients in diverse personal care products including moisturizers, exfoliants, cleansers and color cosmetics. Even though Hydresia is a "natural" ingredient, products formulated with oleosomes have superior aesthetic properties, as measured in consumer panel studies across applications. This allows you to develop natural products without sacrificing performance.

  • Oleosomes can be used as delivery systems wherein they deliver to the skin or hair the contents found naturally within the structure e.g. triglycerides, anti-oxidants, anti-microbials etc. Release of the oleosome contents occurs through two different routes : initial application of the formulation to the skin or hair results in the breakage of some of the spheres with subsequent release of the contents, however the primary route to release occurs as a result of oleosome collapse as a consequence of water loss.  Addition of polyhydric materials e.g glycerin, decaglycerin, etc which delay water loss, can be used to extend the release of contents if desired.  Lipophilic materials can be loaded into the oleosomes where they are protected and available for later use
